MaryAnn is a highly accomplished Australian Legal Practitioner with an impressive academic background and a wealth of professional experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences alongside a Bachelor of Laws with Honours, complemented by a Certificate of Practical Legal Training and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice Management. Currently on the verge of completing her Master of Laws, specializing in Wills & Estate Planning, MaryAnn remains committed to deepening her expertise in the legal field.

Her career trajectory started with serving as the Tipstaff to the Honourable Justice Geoff Lindsay, presiding as the Probate & Protective List Judge at the Supreme Court of NSW. This role afforded MaryAnn invaluable insights and honed her skills in navigating complex Estate Litigation, setting a strong foundation for her subsequent endeavours.

MaryAnn‘s academic contributions have been noteworthy, marked by her role as Guest Editor of the Elder Law Review and Guest Lecturer for the Elder Law LLB Course at Western Sydney University. Notably, she presented at the International Legal Ethics Conference VII in New York, focusing on Elder Law and Substitute Decision Making. Embracing her passion for education, MaryAnn has held positions such as Academic Adjunct Fellow for Western Sydney University and presently serves as a Sessional Academic for Macquarie Law School. Her current responsibilities include teaching for the Wills & Estates, Succession Law subject at Macquarie Law School.

Furthermore, MaryAnn‘s dedication to advancing legal knowledge is evident through her published articles in the realm of Wills and Estates. She has also lent her expertise as a referee for the Adelaide Law Review and contributed to updating the NSW Civil Procedure Handbook as an author. Recognized for her exceptional contributions, MaryAnn was a finalist for Academic of the Year 2023 at the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards.

Her practice encompasses comprehensive succession planning and representation in various litigation disputes and alternative dispute resolution processes.
